Fighting and playing is second nature to us; controlling that is self-taught,” said Bumrah, who was bowling his 26th over in the innings and had gone wicketless.
After winning that Test by 151 runs, India’s five-match series came to a 2-2 conclusion.
Bumrah has developed a nice guy persona on the field throughout his career, bowling with a kind grin rather than the menacing sneer that speed bowlers typically use as a form of intimidation. However, Bumrah confessed that in his younger years, he was one of those people who might become aggressive with hitters.
India won the Test by 151 runs, and the five-match series ended in a 2-2 draw.
